Chuck Edwards, who had support for state party leaders, ousted the freshman congressman by a margin of under 2,000 votes. Embattled Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) is in serious danger of losing his seat, according to unofficial election results out of the Tar Heel state. With roughly 99% of the expected vote in, Cawthorn trails State Sen. Chuck Edwards by around 2%. If the results hold, it will be a major blow to the MAGA wing of the party, and represent a blemish on former President Donald Trump's endorsement record. Cawthorn's political enemies, including U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) rallied around Edwards in the wake of Cawthorn, a freshman congressman, claiming that GOP colleagues had invited him to orgies and done cocaine in front of him. He will be doing the rounds in the convention circuit with the rest of the buffoons. He will show up at Trump rallies and so on. Probably get hired at Fox News or some other station for the poorly educated. Then eventually will try to run for something bigger later on. I pity him. He’s a dishonest person. His marriage failed faster than you can say Ferrari. He will never live an honest day in his life and he is too blind to see it or too ignorant to better himself.
