Teletubby 150,077
Justin Bieber has been blacklisted by Ferrari for violating the carmaker’s code of conduct by changing his vehicle’s colour to neon blue. The company, based in Maranello, Italy, has strict rules to ensure the prestige of its brand. In addition to giving his white Ferrari 458 Italia F1 edition a neon-blue wrap, ugly-looking flared fenders and aftermarket rims, the singer lost the car for weeks in a Los Angeles car park after a long night of partying in 2016. Yummy songster broke another very important Ferrari ownership rule by auctioning off his car, without the automaker’s consent, which proved to be the final nail in the coffin. Ferrari’s rules dictate that an owner cannot sell their car in the first year and that they inform the manufacturer before selling thereafter, so that the company has the option of buying it back. Unauthorised modifications are frowned upon. Numerous celebrities are said to have fallen foul of the rules, including 50 Cent and Kim Kardashian. source source "You b*tch!" ~ Rat Boy

dit 46,483
Ferrari need to let go of that idea. You cannot control what people do with a product they bought from you. That seems like some sort of antiquated idea.

It's not like they're fining him or telling him to undo the modifications. They just don't like him as a representative of their brand, so they're limiting his future possibilities. It's their way of protecting their image. It's an elitist brand, so they don't mind being strict about their policies.
