Dancing Shadow 1,171
No other musician is able to punch me in the heart the way her music does. her career also makes me almost cry, sometimes actually cry. How can someone be so strong and dedicated? does that mean i can also be strong and dedicated? And her music has had a huge impact on me even since before i was a fan... When i was a little kid i was so physically sick and terrified of going to school because of my anxiety and music has always been one of my coping mechanisms. I remember the moment any of her songs came on id some how instantly know it was the same person (despite not known anything about gaga except for her name) and id calm down almost immediately. Once i became a monster in early 2020 ive changed for the better. Im happier, I work harder, Im kinder (or i try to be), Im less judgmental, and so much more. Everytime i listen to any of her albums or watch an album analysis.. im just.. over come with emotion. I really hope when i become an adult i will be just as helpful to people as she has been. Her music gives me hope for myself. how do you guys feel? do you have any heart warming stories or just a story youd like to share that is related to how she has affected you? Bonkers 29,742
I was a precious christian child of god. And now, well, I don't want to say I worship satan. But, I worship Satan. Thank you Gaga!!! Runway 27,876
Yep I do get emotional about her career. After all I've spent the past 13 years of my life following her, I think when Im old and wrinkly I'm still going be proud of her career
badfaith 5,716
Gaga made me look deep into myself and bring my hidden true self out. Her songs literally heped me in my most stressful years and her albums became a safe space for me to just relax and be confident in my self. I became more brave because of the journey she's faced and more kind because of her personality. She's literally the best person to stan. Also completely unrelated, I feel this way about Trixie too. She's so hardworking and literally everytime I see her she has a new product or venture and I find that so inspiring.
BabylonSaints 5,210
Gaga, as cliche as it sounds, has helped me discover what my purpose is in life, and I admire, love, and respect her so much. She's the true definition of kindness. Despite some of you thinking she can be preachy about it, she does mean well, and she has a heart that's full of love, and compassion for people. I couldn't stan a better woman. Saw your face and mine in a picture by our bedside🎧

reysus 1,064
yea lately I think about this a lot. I remember waking up at 5 am before school to watch any clips I could find of the Monster Ball from the night before, and now I'm living on my own with my dream job and I'm still excited as ever to see her this summer. Feels surreal. I'm not as 'obsessive' as I used to be in that I don't have a stan twitter acct anymore or freak out if I don't see every single interview she does, but I still care about her so deeply. No person or thing has brought me as much joy, inspiration, laughter, and comfort in my life as she has with her career and this fanbase that supports her. I have no idea why I became so intrigued with her career when I was so young. Like out of everything in the world I wanted to look at the rah rah bitch all day when I was 11 . But it is so beautiful to think about how much she has grown and how I've experienced that through my own perspective and in some ways grown along with her. I am not foolish enough to think that I actually have some kind of special connection with her personally, but I don't think that matters. Being a fan and going on this ride with the rest of yall crazy kids is something I will always cherish and hold closely to my heart, and I can't imagine my life any other way. LG666 1,931
I feel like I grew up with her. I looked up to her as an awkward, shy and insecure teenager right when she was just starting to get big. She gave me the courage to be myself and find my inner fame. When I got bullied at school I would go home and listen to her music and watch her music videos to escape my reality. Now, over a decade later, I live a fabulous life and am in control of my own destiny and am incredibly happy and at peace with my demons, my traumas, my failures, my ambitions, and myself for the most part. I've watched her grow, fail, evolve, just like any other human. And her music to me is always a soundtrack to my life. So her music is very special to me due to the personal connection I developed with her artistry as I developed into an adult. I always look forward to her projects and admire how she has never stayed in the box that the media and Little Monsters always want to put her in. She's fearless, she's vulnerable, and she's simply an amazing human. I've grown to appreciate her as a person vs. as a superhero. Yes she's famous, yes she's a legend, but she's a person like all of us. And I think the greatest respect you can have towards an idol is to treat them like a person rather than like an object on a pedestal. And she taught me this and I am grateful for how she has impacted my thinking through her actions and messages.
julz 7,442
She is one of the reasons why i look forward to some days in my life. Music releases, interviews, tv appearances, performances, film and more. In terms of showbusiness entertainment, she remains at the top for me that brings so much JOY..i pat myself for being attracted to her weirdness and innovativeness back in 2009, that i decided to follow her ...until now...and forever. She gave me hope. When i finally see her in person, i have achieved a life goal. Vote 4 Gaga: https://mtv.com/event/vma/vote
MOT 3,197
She just makes me smile. 5' 2" tall, a tiny little scrap of a thing, but there is this absolutely giant person inside that little frame. I am in awe of her and protective of her at the same time. She is extraordinary. It just makes me smile.
