Potential jurors criticise Kardashians to their faces in court

On Monday, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner,  Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner all sat in the front row of a Los Angeles courtroom as prospective jurors aired their feelings about the famous family and the four women, all defendants in a lawsuit brought by Rob Kardashian’s former fiancée Blac Chyna. Chyna is suing the Kardashians for $108 million for destroyed her television career.

The defendants didn’t seem defensive about the disrespect. They chatted with each other and smiled during breaks.

“Anything that has to do with their names is just a big no for me,” one man said. “I don’t think reality TV is good for society.”

Another said, “I sincerely hope none of these people get any wealthier because of this”, while another voiced his anger at the perceived special treatment the defendants were getting, pointing out they were getting ‘Fiji water hand-delivered to them as they sit in court’.

One woman said her teenage daughter tried to watch “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”  but she put a stop to it.
“I don’t think they were the best role models,” she said. “I wouldn’t let her watch anything involving them.”

One panel member  said: "I just want to say I have a very negative perception of the parties and I’m not sure I could be unbiased.”

One man said he had ‘never watched the Kardashian show but I have watched the Kardashian sex tape and I don’t think I could be neutral in this case’.
“I’m going to be playing that sex tape in my head and possibly not listening too closely,’ the same man said later.

Jury selection is expected to continue Tuesday, with opening statements to follow.

Such a weird lawsuit, very abstract, very hard to prove it, what proves that this destroyed her career and not something else? What proves that the public just didn't have any interest in Chyna so she couldve never blow up anyways? What proves that Chyna didn't ruin her career herself with her other drama in her life? The answer is nothing, nothing proves anything. Too abstract. And using the court system to criticize reality tv stars is such a waste of everyone's time and resources. Also how do u measure failure? How would u measure success? Very relative and subjective

I don’t care for them but I don’t think I could be disrespectful to them if I were to see them in person, especially in a court room. The man saying he would replay the sex tape in his head is just foul. Just say “I have preconceived perceptions of the parties involved and I don’t think I can be unbiased.” 
 

I would love to be part of this jury tbh. All the tea! I mean, the most memorable mention of Blac Chyna on tv is Miss Nina Bonina Brown so good luck to her with that lawsuit.

I mean....... it is a juror's responsibility to be clear on whether they have biases or not. They're not being disrespectful for the sake of it, they're being honest and within the expectations of what a juror is supposed to be. By the way-- the kardashians are not entitlted to everybodys respect.

 

 

Even the sex tape comment-- that's fair reason for having a bias. In fact that person probably has a favorable bias towards kim if they enjoyed her sex tape and got off to it lol that might somehow affect the way that they perform their jury duty.
