Lol. Rihanna is probably the LEAST successful touring act of her peers because the common opinion of her as a performer is that she's not that good.

Rihanna has more hits than the rest but she doesn't have the most impact nor is she regarded as even CLOSE to the status of talent Gaga has by the general public. Or Beyoncé for that matter.

I wouldn't know, I think I've seen her perform Woo on tour and maybe a few award show appearances but that's it :laughga:

What metric should be used to determine a worldwide hit?  Then we could list those songs released from 2010 through 2019 for each artist.

I live outside the space time continuum.

Rihanna easily wins with most hits. However, Gaga has the BIGGER hits.

Gaga is the only female artist with four 10+ million selling singles in the history of music and is therefore in the Guinness World Book of Records. Since this is Gaga Daily, thought adding something that puts Gaga above Rihanna was relevant.

Beyoncé is easily more respected which is why she plays stadiums and Rihanna had problems filling out arenas during her last tour even though it was accompanying a hit album like Anti.

Adele is overall more successful than Rihanna.

Katy was Rihanna's closest competitor in terms of hits but ultimately lost.

Everyone has something and Rihanna definitely owns singles but let's not make her bigger than the rest because she's not. Shallow and ASIB sold more than Anti or anything from it, for example. Let's remember that :ohwell:

Why are people saying Dua when she JUST started owning and it's no longer the 2010s but the 2020s.

I don't know what you're talking about as Ariana's last couple of singles have debuted at #1 in nearly every country with bigger first week numbers than most of those you just named.

No one I know knows Ariana had an album after Thank you next.

Thank you next went big as in viral, so did the tour. Other than that no impact.

COME ON GAYS!!

Dua Lipa and is not even close.

Wut? I love Dua, but FN didn't even open that strongly in the US. The label (and Dua) had to work HARD at getting it traction (and it worked). She had one big hit from her debut in the US, but that's it.

She's huge in Europe and now huge in the US, but if we're talking total number of hits...no way. It's very clearly Rihanna who has had global WW success.

This is accurate. Rihanna by far has the most worldwide hits, and Katy in her heyday did pretty well (multiple #1s from multiple albums). Gaga is more of an album artist than a single artist (like Beyonce), but has had a handful of tracks that have done massively well worldwide. Ariana's pretty successful, but in some ways is more of an album artist too.

still

and all those comments saying Rihanna is above Dua are honestly delusional.

Past Decade: 2010s

Dua's first ever single release year: 2017

No, you are not getting it. The question of this thread is who was the one who sold most in 2010s, Dua is not in this equation at all cos her career just started in 2017, sorry.
