moonsago 7,285
I am NOT a hater at all, don’t missunderstand, I don’t really follow his stuff either but out of curiosity, why did this body of work underperfom considering the massive success of the previous album? Obviously he couldn’t have reciprocated the same amount of success but still... it didn’t even come close from what I know. Did any of the singles chart top 10 or top 5? My guess is that it was too early to release a new album... though it’s been 2 years, the success of the previous one dragged out so much that it felt like he never really ‘left’.... also, making continuing with the same sound made it feel a little boring and tired, like how Ariana’s last album felt after TUN? but that’s just my take idk... Dawn FM is not the same sound as AH. he also shouldn't release these collaborations short before his album and announce Dawn FM earlier, not 4 days before release. but it isn't a flop. Take My Breath was #6, Sacrifice #11 and some songs can still be hits in the future. "You b*tch!" ~ Rat Boy

The sound is still consistent for the most part.
