She’s brought the receipts, worked overtime for free and it’s clear that Tara decided to randomly drop her but continue to use work Brooke completed without paying her. Legal counsel could have advised her on how to proceed. Bringing this online for Lady Gaga's fans to discuss, and admitting that she willingly under-reported her worked hours really doesn't inspire confidence in her motives. It makes it seem (to me, at least) that all she really wants out of this is clout for having worked with Gaga's makeup artist. Reginald 13,835 Posted April 1, 2022 Share Posted April 1, 2022 To my surprise, I actually found several court rulings in favor of the employee, under accusations of "wage theft" even when they willingly underreported hours. The artist/editor would have been better keeping this offline. She apparently could have have a case, after all. Now if she brings this to court, Tara could (I assume) complicate the matter by accusing her of libel or defamation, damage to her reputation.
