A new top gun trailer with Gaga song expected today

Starting to think that this rumor was made by the team involved in production as a marketing strategy because they know a Top Gun sequel/soft reboot wouldn’t be enough to get ass in theater seats, and manipulating this gullible and hyper ass fan base was the easiest thing to think of.

Here's a reality check... Gaga has released a POP album, as well as a JAZZ album (Love for Sale) AND a MOVIE (House of Gucci) in the last 2 years! 🙂

In case you don't remember, she's a 36-year-old pop star-jazz singer-actress!

There's no point in comparing her to singers who are a DECADE younger, on their 2nd or 3rd album, and focused  almost exclusively on their MUSIC CAREER.

Gaga wasn't an actress back then. She had one job.

Remember the Monster Ball? 203 shows! BTW Ball? 98 shows! She BROKE HER HIP on stage in 2013... She was 26! 

Go support your girls... And let's hope for their sake none of them are so overworked they need surgery, ignore their mental health until they end up in a psych ward, or worse.

Reality check #3. NONE of Gaga's CONTEMPORARIES are touring in 2022. Not Bey. Not Rihanna. Not Katy, Taylor and Adele, ALL of whom released new music in the last 2 years. 

Gaga's been releasing new music on a regular basis, unlike RIHANNA (nothing since Anti in January 2016) or ADELE (a 6-year gap). 

In the last 2 years she's released a pop album (Chromatica), a jazz album, (Love for Sale), AND a movie (House of Gucci), which was filmed in 2021.

She didn't write LFS or HoG, but Chromatica was her diary. She worked on that album for 2 years, even though she had a psychotic break and was struggling with depression. 

Just because you couldn't care less about Love for Sale or House of Gucci... doesn't mean Gaga did NOTHING in the last 2 years. What kind of logic is that? 🤔

Yes, she's done a lot in the past two years, but out of all of those things chromatica got the least content and consistency. That's what people are upset about. It's great that she can put out projects often enough but if she's not motivated to push certain projects after their initial release, of course fans are going to be disappointed and frustrated. Especially when that project is a dance/pop album that fans waited 7 years for. 

Also, imo just because you've been in the business longer doesn't mean we can't expect full eras and lots of content. Of course Dua is in her prime right now and is probably way more motivated than gaga is when it comes to her music but that doesn't mean that we should automatically be given/expect lacklustre eras from here on out. Age does not determine work ethic. 

Lastly, a huge part of the problem of our perception of the chromatica era comes not from the lack of content, but all the miscommunication/broken promises from her team. How many times were we teased with more MVs, singles etc and it lead to nowhere? How many times did we have Bobby saying they had everything planned out to a T and it was going to be a huge era but then they couldn't even be bothered to reschedule the listening party? Not to mention SL was released before Covid started and nothing was done for promo, and the era was most likely only  getting 2 singles given that the original release date of the album was in April. Gaga also said herself in the Zane Lowe interview that she wasn't going to promote much. So her words and actions kept contradicting her team's attempt at convincing us they had huge stuff coming in their 18 months of planning. Had they had planned stuff in 18 months, there would have been stuff ready to be released during 2020.

It's not that ppl didn't care about that or say that she's done nothing. Everyone loved her performances, praise, etc for jazz and the movie. It's that fact that the thing fans were anticipating the most, gaga neglected the most. And for no good reason.
