Could you find that source? that doesn't really make sense because Redone worked with Britney before Gaga. Also, if Gaga had that power, why did he end up working with Nicki Minaj?

I would if I could but I remember it being his older interview in arabic. Few members here seems to remember it as well. I’ve been a fan since 2009 so I wouldn’t just lie about this.

LOL. Gaga couldn't "PROHIBIT" RedOne to work with Heidi even if she wanted to. He's the producer. She was an up-and-coming artist! 🙂

This happened BEFORE Just Dance was released! BEFORE Gaga filmed an episode of The Hills with Lauren and Whitney. That episode was filmed on JUNE 10, 2008. 

Gaga was billed as an 'INTERSCOPE Recording Artist'. The footage was initially unaired but was released as a bonus scene when the DVD for the 4th season was released in 2009!

My guess is RedOne was so blown away by Gaga's talent ("She's my WRITING partner for HUGE things," to quote Heidi) HE wanted to focus on her exclusively.

He wanted Gaga to work WITH HIM for as long as SHE wanted to!

He knew she'd move on sooner or later... Who cares, as long as the royalties keep coming??

For all I know she's quite talented, but I suspect one reason Heidi didn't hit it big was... a complete and total lack of SELF-AWARENESS. 🙂

Imagine thinking she'd have a career like Gaga's if she released Fashion?? Just because it's a GAGA song?

I’m not even gonna try anymore. At this point I’m sure 90% of you didn’t follow her career like I did back in the day because this was pretty controversial when he said it. I can’t find his interview because like I said previously it’s in arabic or whatever his native language is. I guess I’ll have to live on with y’all not believe me and thinking I’d randomly lie about this.
