A lot of her fans (not all of them) don't seem to care about the message that she makes regarding respecting and uplifting black women considering how I have seen some them treat Beyoncé's peers.

I feel like her solo career just doesnt come close to her destinys Child days

overall her songs suffer from the same problem over and over. They are a bit “elaborared” but not in a very good sense.

Take it the telephone part, its typical Beyoncé and good contrast. But she does those rythms, little phrases everything time like a singing nicki minaj. Just sounds a bit ridiculous.
I think she has a good voice but rarely used ir nicely

worst is in melódic songs, i think she ruins them not only with oversinging its just could be a more straight forward emission. Specially in pretty hurts, if i were a boy, ed sheeran duet, listen tbh

shes excellent in her Bárbra hommage in “the way we were” beautiful. Compared to halo… I’ve always cringed in that song

I just dont get the hype half the time

like of course she’s a great performer, but the throne people give her of being “miles beyond” all of her contemporaries is… not supported by the performance of her solo career imo

I really love Beyoncé and her music, she's definitely on my top 10, but I think she's sometimes crosses the line between inspiration and plagiarism in her visuals and a lot people defend her and pretends she doesn't do it

1. She became a feminist when it became cool to be one.

2. She's heavily overrated (But that's a fact, not an opinion)

3. Imo her best song is Runnin

4. I didn't enjoy her albums with Jay Z.

- Dangerously In Love is her best album (Lemonade comes second, don't worry).

- I prefer her ballads to her dancey tunes.

- While she has good vocals, she has so many tone and inflection issues, especially in the last few years and I feel she could sing much better in her earlier days but lets the vocals slide now in favour of performing.

- She's ripped off so many visual concepts in her work, yet we're apparently told her visuals are so iconic.

- She definitely is not as involved in her music as we're led to believe, hence lack of interviews talking about it.

- She's been doing the whole surprise release thing with no proper singles for years now because after 4 was her her first big underperformance with no top ten singles in America, it made her realise that she may struggle to get big hits ever again. So she decided to take herself completely outside of the normal realms of album releasing to force people into buying her work (she doesn't make it widely available on all platforms until later) and makes people pay attention to it through aggressive marketing. There's a lack of organic hit-making here. And I don't believe Beyonce and Lemonade would have sold anywhere near as well as they did had they been released normally.

- Her merits are as a businesswoman and not as an artist.
- She has no iconic songs or true hits (except maybe Single Ladies).
- She is more of a (North) American phenomenon than a global one. I live in a south-american country where literally the average person either doesn't know her or can't even name ONE of her songs.
- I don't think she has any real political commitment to the causes she claims to champion. I think she uses political commitment in a strategic and marketing way.
- She is the living expression of westernized and, paradoxically, white-washed feminism ("women can also be CEOs and run mega-companies that exploit other people and the environment").
- I think she truly despises Gaga. I don't know if it's because Gaga "took her place" on more than one occasion (Coachella, ASIB), or because of some other kind of rivalry.

I thought they still send each other gifts every now and then so this is completely untrue.

She has crossed the line to being VERY overrated

Performance wise, she’s unparalleled in our generation, not as a performer necessarily (that truly goes to Gaga in my book), but in terms of putting together the whole experience and staying undeniably strong herself.

But in terms of quality, it’s just been overrated piece of work after overrated piece of work since self-titled happened

Gaga also sends gifts with Katy and I'm sure Gaga doesn't like Perry one bit. She just had to say she was "her friend" in a high campaign moment for the Oscars when the messages with Kesha came to light. Also, since when is sending a bouquet of flowers considered a sign of real, genuine appreciation or affection in show business? Fans truly see what they want to see and nothing else.

PLUS, how do you guys explain that literally on her website she greeted EVERYONE but Gaga for her birthday?

* Not a Beyonce fan, but Lemonade is a phenomenonal project. Credit to all involved.

* Sometimes I think her self titled was lowkey inspired by Kelly's success with the electro-trap banger "Motivation", but that may be a reach.

* Her relationship to Jay Z feels odd.

* The ST surprise drop was definitely one for the history books. Props.

* Her background vocals on "pink + white" are shimmering gold. Divine talent.
