It would never be a thing if Teenage Dream wasn’t a thing first so the OG remains the greatest as well :golfclap:

You guys really like to tease the stans because the Carly song is nowhere near Teenage Dream tbh

Delusion we love to see it :ladyhaha: RAWM ate TD for breakfast and was hungry an hour later I fear.

Teenage dream and Born this way were the last pop music spectacles of its kind. I am aware that many musicians have had successful album campaigns since then. But, Celebrity culture has changed so much and that has this changed how music is marketed and promoted. I am so nostalgic for that era of pop culture.

Literally who even heard of RAWM outside of the fans ... Teenage Dream was EVERYWHERE when it came out (and so was Katy). Be real for a minute ...

Exposure doesn’t dictate quality? RAWM remain unbothered and superior.

For a pop song, I think it does in the sense that part of what makes a pop song's quality is its ability to stay in people's heads and become a moment. But personally I find California Gurls better than Teenage Dream for that reason.
