80s mastering is very stylised and (frankly) dated. The remastering is fine. Technology has evolved. It should've been a 1:1 remaster. Instead, Madonna did like George Lucas and re-edited the songs and the new versions are so inferior :noparty:

i've noticed that any CDs i buy which were produced in 80s or before, they're notably quieter than modern day albums :bradley: half my Enya collection is super quiet cus the remasters were digital only :bradley:

mother, what must i do?

My unpopular opinion re: Madonna is that 'Hard Candy' is a much better album than people give credit to. It may be in her top 5 for me. Sure, it's not super meaningful, but it's fun, and a perfect relic of popular music during that time.

Honestly, I'd like to see Madonna splash in the K-POP world next, if she wants to do something really out of left field.

BIRTHDAY SONG is a fun, cute and good song. People only dislike it because it’s on a pop-edm crossover album

American Life and Bedtime Stories are underrated

Music is just as good as Ray Of Light

Erotica is musically interesting, but her vocals are drowned by the production. Madonna doesn't do sexy as well as Janet.

Her albums are generally full of fillers. This is mostly apparent in the 80s album

1. Like a Prayer is her best album

2. Ray Of Light has been a fluke that can't never be repeated

3. Her last album (Madame X) was great

4. Hard Candy is a good and solid album but she could't care any less about it

5. The Sticky & Sweet is the tour she enjoyed the most. She stop enjoying touring after that one

6. The Girlie Show is her most creative and artistic tour

7. Madonna has a good voice but she doesn't practice enough, she doesn't like to

8. MDNA is such a good, good pop album

9. Nobody in the music industry is taking her seriously, not because she's a woman but because she is constantly looking for something to provoke .. the music industry no longer wants to be provoked by her, they have a pocket full of her

10. Rebel Heart is an ok album she messed up a little with

11. Bedtime Stories is boring (i save Human Nature / Sanctuary / Secret and Take a Bow)
