USA Inflation Hits 8% Even Before Russia-Ukraine Conflict

I don't know which topic to post this on. 

I just want to post my disgust with the South African government supporting Russia. I also want to add that this a government run by black people advocating peace between races and cultures. 

If anyone will please distribute the info that South Africa is pro-russia... Would be appreciated.

Agreed. But im talking about even ur government pension as well that you deduct into not just extra personal investments like RSP

 

Your Government one is also supported by the same concept. Thats why im saying if stocks did less well thru lower profits ud have to put more of ur income into that this partially offsetting some of the gains for the middle class and thats just one example

 

Again tho im not saying im not for some proposed policy changes intended to get more money away from very wealthy and into middle class. Greed in Capitalism is really just so gross

 

All im saying tho is that virtually every policy has offsetting factors including this about stocks and virtually no one factors those things in for some reason i guess cuz politics is so black and white but to have reasonable expectations on the effects of policy changes u really do have to look at the full picture not just part of it. Imo both the far right and far left are especially guilty of not doing so

The problem is the inflation percentage is going up way too quickly for wages to keep up, basically. Inflation effects EVERYTHING except wages

But why don't we change our economic system? 

Is that a reasonable thing? I think this economy is just making more people poor and its benefits are going downhill.

Its a system thats so flawed. Unfortunately when something has been one way for so long a complete overhaul is very complicated even if everyone was on board (which on top of that not everyone is especially those who benefit most)

 

Best hope is to change is gradually.

 

Im not sure a non capitalist system would work well tho with human nature. For the moment capitalism with more resource redistributing and tax collection to invest in socieety for everyone like Nordic Countries do is probably still the best bet id say
