I wonder if Russians are drowning under propaganda and they believe in some lies making them support Putin/an attack on Europe... I see tons of stuff online from ukrainians citizens but nothing from russians citizens, that's a bit strange

I personally will NEVER support him(and I'm R*ssian). And we don't post a lot cuz they're blocking social media. And we are f#ck8n terrified to write anything negative about him, cuz this man is dangerous, we are frightened.

wasn't he forced? maybe russia is making all athletes wear that idk, he looks uncomfortable, but that's just from the picture of the tweet so i might be reaching

Uncomfortable? To me he looks rather smirky and cocky in the photo if anything :rip:

That being said i wont judge his general disposition based on a single photo. Facial expressions in a single short moment of a photo can be misleading and not necessairily represent ones emotions as a whole. I think its happened to all of us when the opposite is true for example, getting a grumpy or angry face in a spontaneous pic even tho u werent actually angry

But regardless of how he felt yikes. Its possible he was forced or pressure but id say more likely brainwashed and agrees with it

He said he has no regrets, he would do it again and blamed his Ukrainian opponents

"Their (Ukrainians) behavior at some points was completely unacceptable," Kuliak said.
"During performances they would shout 'Glory to Ukraine!', or go out on the podium wrapped in the national flag while we were considered neutral athletes, and because of this we felt uncomfortable."
He said the behavior of the Ukrainian athletes "greatly escalated the situation."

"If there was a second chance and I had a choice whether to go out with the letter 'Z' on my chest or not, I would do the same," Kuliak continued.
"I saw it on our military and looked at what this symbol means. It turned out to be 'for victory' and 'for peace.' I just wanted to show my position. As an athlete, I will always fight for victory and play for peace."

Kuliak's bosses back home also said that they backed the athlete's choices.
