She's a part of lot of people's childhood due to WOWP, and she's an amazing human being, has a successful career as a recording artist, have multiple 1billion+ streaming songs, and a very successful makeup brand. Shes always been extremely popular on Instagram since the starting.

Well, me on the other hand knows a lot of people that listen to her and many of my friends follow her on IG. Why do y'all have to always question someone's achievements?

if you visit accounts of some of her followers www.instagram.com/selenagomez/followers/ you will see these are often accounts with no posts or pfp who only follows the same celebs: Selena, JLo, Kardashians, Beyonce, Bieber so I think they are buying followers.

She has a beauty brand and was just at the SAG awards for her acclaimed and award nominated series "Only Murders In The Building". Her most recent album was released in 2020 to positive reviews.

That is so awesome, she deserves! Even though imo she doesn't have super great stage presence, she is really involved in her work and artistry. I watched her Apple Music interview for "Rare" and she worked with Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter and they all vibed really well together!

Good for her tbh! She deserves it. She gets so bullied on stan twitter and it’s incredibly undeserved. She minds her own business, never gets into any ****, she’s proven herself a talented actress (watch Only Murders in the Building asap), she’s a smart business woman, a charitable queen, and she’s by all accounts just a sweet and genuine person.
