Charli XCX says The Black Eyed Peas are the best band of all time

Charli XCX joined Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp to discuss her upcoming album, ‘Crash’.

When asked who would be included in her dream supergroup, Charli revealed which female artists she’d like to work with.
“Honestly, I love working with people who are really fun, so I don’t know if this supergroup makes much sense sonically, but I’d probably just want all the fun peeps in it. Rina she’s number 1 choice …PinkPantheress she’d probably be in it, she’s amazing …Dua’s a legend …all the fun, iconic, ladies.”

The ‘Boys’ hitmaker also revealed how much she rates American music group, Black Eyed Peas.

“I really ride for The Black Eyed Peas, I think they are the best band of all time.”

Continuing her love for the group, Charli added: “‘I’ve Got A Feeling’ is fine art, it’s the best song of all time, no lie, it’s amazing.”

ive got a feeling was a great anthem. It def had an effect in every party/meeting. The magic has been lost a bit but the song still gets you a very specific vibe

and there's def a growth, be it good or not, but there's an evolution throught the whole decade of black eyed peas. Its a great discography in pop music.

I kinda understand what she means by this for her type of music. Black eyed peas were kind of instrumental in bringing about the electronic robotic elements into pop music that characterize hyperpop. But I’d say daft punk is much more of an influence on that and even better
