Gaga least important album

Chromatica - even though I enjoyed it, it quickly became dated and unrepeatable for me.

I don't feel her heart was in it at all. It was another case of lots of talk with barely anything to show for it, and for a visual artist that had the fashion, music and entertainment industries at her heel I would expect nothing less than that.

Moving forward, my anticipation and excitement for another Gaga album and era has dimmed. If the last few (solo) albums told me anything, it's that I personally don't trust her team to deliver anything entertaining and 'current' that can stand the test of time like once before.

That is both alarming, and disappointing.

People saying chromatica… :koons: I’d say Born this Way: The remix or Chromatica Remix

These are not albums, unlike Chromatica, the big winner of this thread lol

Hmm very difficult question

Def not TF, since it was her break into the mainstream. And not TFM because of BR (she recently called it her "bread and butter" song). Def not BTW.

Between ARTPOP, Joanne, and Chromatica, I think Joanne maybe slightly more important because of "changing her image" for her movie career (altho I'm not even sure how important this was to do).

Sadly I would have to say Chromatica would be least important commercially. I feel like hardly anyone even knows Chromatica outside of the fanbase :messga:

Exactly this, especially your lines abiut Joanne, because people like to pretend that Joanne gave her the Super Bowl because Gaga lied about it, even though we all not it's not true at all:ladyhaha: otherwise she would have sung more than one song lol

Those who are saying that ARTPOP is the least important one are very delusional. In fact, it represents a hard & unhappy period of Gaga's career, making her switching in relevant ways (musically, artistically and mentally). It's also for sure one of her most (if not, the most) divided album for the fandom as you can absolutely hate it or love it & despise it or appreciate it (literally just read this whole thread to acknowledge that).

Commercially wasn't a success, but it was an UNDERPERFORMANCE compared to her previous releases, which sadly made a negative impact as people began to call it ARTFLOP. What I'm trying to say that the era & album impacted her negatively, but I'm sure she learned stuff from that stint & it's doing better since then. Plus, despise how hard that era was for her, she does love the album and recognizes that it was ahead of its time. So yeah, I'd say ARTPOP isn't the least important

Chromatica.

It doesn't have the ambitions of ARTPOP, the breakthroughs of TF and TFM, the impact of BTW, and the redefinition of Gaga with Joanne.

I’d say Chromatica. It was, to me, mindless fun. Which is exactly what I needed given the state the world was in when it was released.

Regrettably I think Chromatica. It had no impact, barely any promo, she spent barely any time on it after release and had 1 live performance... I mean... Do we even have to compare. Tho I love this album to death.

I’m not asking which you think is her worst, but which had the least impact in her career / discography :ally: You can do it out of her 8 album, but I also would like to know which of her solo albums is the least important

Prob L4S. But maybe not after the grammies?

Yeah I think this thread would be more LFS if they weren’t nominated for that many

I look forward to all the petty ARTPOP shade in this thread despite the fact that it was easily one of the most impactful albums in her career - it literally changed the way she interacts with her fanbase :cyanlights:

Whatever went down during ARTPOPS formulation affected her life forever, but ARTPOP itself underperforming and its execution being comparatively mediocre to her previous efforts is what makes it the least impactful. I find as the years push forward its only become increasingly irrelevant when looking back at how past eras have affected her legacy.

Chromatica. The era was such a mess even ARTPOP was more consistent.

Not any top hit single.

Videos... similar to Joanne era.

Tour far way reduced, altough it had good visuals and themes.
