I gave up on Gaga releasing official concerts a while ago  it's been over 10y since TMB and she's pretty traditional when it comes to releasing albums and promo, her perspective is probably "you wanna see my show, buy a ticket" and her management probably pressured her into doing the HBO special.

I know they were filming for BTWB which obviously never saw the light of day, ARTPOP Paris was livestreamed but was only supposed to be a one night thing, and JWT was recorded but never released. We really got dust 

Just sad because she had built up so many fans all over the world and majority of them will never see her live, so a special on Netflix or a streaming service would at least give them that experience.

Ikr?? I mean, I've been a fan since I was 15 years old, lived in my country (Venezuela) until I was 23, and when she came to Latin America she didn't go there. Now I'm in Argentina, which I'm assuming she would include on her list if she was to come to LA America again, so I still have some hope inside of me that I'll be able to see her one day, but c'mon  in the meantime I would like to see her tours in the best quality possible, since I was cursed by being born in this forgotten broke continent  where I've been unable to see her live.

Aw sending my love to you and your country mi amor! Her team better figure out something soon because fans outside of the US (or Vegas, let's be real ) have HAD IT, OFFICIALLY

I wouldn’t say it was “rude” to want refunds when the company has been sitting on our money for two years and there has been next to zero communication.  That’s a long time to be out money with no knowledge of whether it’s actually going to happen or whether you’ll be able to even attend the final dates when announced. Especially during a pandemic when many people were short of cash and could have used the money.

And for the record I did not get a refund and kept my tickets because I liked my seats, but it’s incredibly rude and nonsensical to to call out people who needed refunds as rude and to wish that they suffer increased prices.

Yeah it's not rude to want a refund. I do think blaming the artists (be it Gaga or someone else) is a bit much, though, as Ticketmaster is notoriously corrupt. It's the company, not the artists, and there was a way to get a refund even if the official Ticketmaster "policy" is that one can't obtain a refund unless something is cancelled. I'm positive about it as I specifically remember some blue check journalists discussing it when COVID first happened and how f*cked up it was that it wasn't spelled out on the website slash people were told it wasn't possible....and they carefully laid out the instructions on how to get a refund and people did so.
