Oh for sure but I don't think it's to the same extent of the whole of Europe, but I guess we'll see if they even do the whole country/state representation thing. :shrug:

It would be a little more interesting if it was actually across the entire continent. Now THAT would be a real thing. This is just another American Idol.

Well, imo it won't work. I get the point that the US has more than a few different cultures, but seriously - you can't compare that to Europe. Each country over here has a different language, culture and customs which are all based on hundreds or even thousands of years of history.

I mean, yeah, 90% of today's ESC songs are in English, but in the cases they're not, it's a wonderful window into a different culture, and all political stuff aside, this is when Europe comes together as a continent. I don't think it can work that way when it's just in one country :noparty: .

I might watch it anyway to witness chaos :popcorn:
