Beatsss 393
1. THE DESCENT!!!! (Most uncomfortable setting and most horrifying jumpscare EVER 🥲) 2. Haute Tension (title says it all... this film is soooo tense) 3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1974/2003 (original is just depraved realism, and the remake is imo the best "slasher" of the 00's)

DiamondHeart326 261
The exorcist The birds (Everyone says psycho but for me the birds was it. Just the randomness and the pointlessness of it all. Like we never understand what caused it and it was so far ahead of its time as a cautionary tale about respecting the environment cuz nature doesn't need a rhyme or reason to **** you up 🤷♂️) The Shining It follows Halloween (og. Rob zombies. And the new trilogy) The conjuring 1&2 (I'm a psychic empath and a paranormal investigator and the case files of ed and Lorraine Warren have fascinated me for decades ever since I read the amityville horror for a book report when I was 13 so for me the conjuring 3 strayed way too far from what actually happened to the family in the original Brookfield demon murder case.) Insidious (James wan is a horror master. Can't wait for the new film coming later this year/next year) And.... WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE! (Bette Davis and Joan Crawford in this movie is everything cinema should be)

It's titled Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation. It's a very campy film about 4 dumb teenagers who stumble upon the farmhouse. It basically trashes the entire series lol! Oh yeah! I just assumed that was a sequel! Thanks for the reminder!
