The thing is TFM length would make a full studio album under today's standard, which isn't necessarily good 

I like albums with 11-12 tracks, nevertheless. 9 tracks seems a bit short to me but let's see its time length

Tbh I kinda miss when albums were 8 to 12 tracks long which was very common in late 2000s thru mid 2010s...

 

I feel often when they get too long it just means u start to add fillers and skips. Not the case with Mayhem which I appreciate

Some of my favorite albums are under 10 tracks. Let the project speak for itself and if it’s done before the tracklist hits double digits, then so be it

I feel like 15 is the maximum before it just turns into complete filler and looses coherence. But 12 is absolutely the sweet spot
