Collab performance at the Oscars

Adam Lambert’s career relationship with QUEEN led him to being able to perform in 2019 without having anything to do with the nominations whatsoever

 

 

This song is nominated and happens to be written by Gaga’s friend/collaborator Diane Warren so idk maybe gaga can join her in stage and they perform the song together? I really want Gaga to attend but with a purpose so this could be a good one

Unpopular opinion, but I kind of think she shouldn't....people usually don't show at the Oscars unless they have something to promote or if their film was nominated in other categories. Besides Freddie, Gucci got zip. Maybe if Freddie wants to take her as his date, but otherwise...a lot of the media is just going to use it as an excuse to snark on her and they will analyze her every move and facial expression.

I do think she should show up to BAFTA and NYFCC for sure. She was absolutely one of the top two vote getters at BAFTA and has a chance of winning, so she should acknowledge that. As Freebit pointed out, most of the journalists at NYFCC stuck up for her when a lot of other film critics clowned her. And SAG has a lot of working actors and is very populist-more so than the Oscars-so Gaga showing up (even tho she likely won't win) could earn her a lot of goodwill.
