Like in my mind she truly is one of the best musicians of all time. So I just feel like she can promote her acting more without belittling her music career. I am NOT saying that she is lying or anything like that. I’m just saying it could be said with more sensitivity to the fans what specifically contradicts?? she's always been a musician, she started playing piano as a kid with classical music and then jazz, she says that specifically related as singer because she started singing lessons and coaching much more later in her life but she was already a musician, and the thought of becoming a pop singer came much later too, and she clearly did wanted to be an actress much more than a singer otherwise she wouldn't be auditioning for pays so insistently at the time, she later turn another direction it's natural but se brought all her past with it. there's no insensitivity to fans lol Mad Architect of Light Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Two real-life couples are nominated across the 4 acting categories. And both Javier and Penelope got in without hitting all the precursors. Penelope deserves it though. NYC girl, with broadway in your hometown kind of vibe. I think she has always wanted to sing and act and has thought of them as equally essential to her career. If Gaga missed elsewhere I’d say it is what it is, but to be nominated 4/4 at the big precursors, and AACTA, as well as winning NYFCC and still being snubbed stings. She also had the highest grossing film of all the nominees everywhere. I’d take the snub personally ngl. Twitter is dragging Gaga for being over the top (were they born yesterday?).
