Should Gaga attend The Oscars?

I wonder if the makeup and hair award is going to happen during this televised ceremony or the other separate ceremony? I don''t remember the name, but it's like the tech Oscars or whatever. 

(honestly I don't expect her to show up, but she'll probably make a cute post if the HoG team wins)

NO ACTOR is entitled to an Oscar nomination. All the Best Actress nominees have been in the business for at least 20 years.

Gaga knows that, too, or she wouldn't have congratulated all the nominees! 

Some monsters take this waaaayyyy too seriously, as if the Academy snubbed her deliberately. As if Academy members voted as one??

No, they didn't. There's NO nominations review committee! She could have missed by a single vote for all we know. 

The Oscars happen every year... She'll be back!

Let's be real, Freddie is nominated but he hasn't win the award yet. In fact, it's very likely it won't go to HoG considering how the film is received by Ampas. Plus the Academy is so ready to humiliate her, first with the snub and then with the mocking of her campaign. I can't even imagine what kind of awful stuff they'll do to her if she attends. The Academy is way worse than freakin VMAs.

She has Bafta and NYFCC who values her work and takes her seriously. Why not give them the attention instead? Sure she may not win Bafta but at least she'll get the right type of coverage as a contender, as an actress with a nomination. She won't be seen as some desperate celebrity begging for affection and acceptance there.

Imo, no to being Freddie's plus 1. Absolute hard no to presenting best actress. No to presenting best hair award ( like what if Freddie doesn't win). But yes to any other award presenter role, I guess, if any are offered to her.? No to just going for no reason, like why would there be extra seats. Why are we talking about this like ...?

She shouldn’t go in my opinion. I’m sure she might be asked to present Best Song or something, but it’s just annoying to be snubbed like this. Gaga doesn’t always have to be the bigger person and HOG is only nominated in 1 category.

I think Gaga is pretty respected amongst she peers, I mean she has 3 Oscar nominations already, and was dang closed to a 4th. She’s had 3 massive standing ovations from her performances. There’s no mass agenda to humiliate her, she missed in a super competitive year.
 

Credible actors get snubbed every single year, it’s not a big deal.

Yes but 2 of her noms are from the music department, they are a different group to the acting branch. And standing ovations basically mean nothing nowadays. They gave standing ovations for almost every winner and performance in recent years, it wasn't like the 80s/90s.

Nah it was still a competitive year even if she was the frontrunner. Six-seven names were in the mix, and despite Cruz missing out on all the precursors AMPAS voters have a history of loving Pedro Almodovar's films, Cruz herself, etc. TBH she wasn't even considered a frontrunner until BAFTA...I actually think the snub wouldn't have been quite such a big deal if she hadn't also snagged a BAFTA nom.
