It’s not entirely Joe Rogan who is the problem. It’s that he brings on hoards of ignoramuses and gives them a platform, which in turns caters to the ignorant audience. This guest, Charles C. Johnson, is a textbook definition of a white supremacist and Joe is giving these bigots a platform. I understand he kept his cool with the leveled conversation, but he could have asked “Do all violent individuals get tested for this gene?” but Charles just said “Google it” without giving credible sources. He’s just speaking out of his as s and is biased.

As a long time listen of JRE, I can without a doubt confirm he is not a racist or bigot. Far from it. He doesn’t get everything right but what I admire about him is he has anyone on his show and will hear them out. I believe in vaccination but I am also able to hear another persons point of view without immediately believing what they say. Joe has people from all walks of life with all different opinions on his show, a lot of them highly respected learned scholars. 

Cancel culture is toxic and y’all are participating in it like a mindless drone. Totalitarian governments love this crap.

Rogan has about a million reasons, about a million reasons, to hate him. But I don't think this instance is one of them. Unless I'm missing something.

What I think some people in here aren't getting is that prior to the interview on a podcast, there is obviously a pre-interview. Joe knew and knows what types of guests he is welcoming and his genre is shock and controversy because it sells and gets people to check out his show. 

The problem is he's giving people like this a platform. It doesn't matter that he pushed back. Giving that type of voice a platform only perpetuates white supremacy and, unfortunately, there's tons of people who are tuning in because it's what they want to hear. That's the issue here.

I don't know. He could choose to cancel and not air the podcast when things like this are being said. On the other hand, it's good to show the arguments proving that these people are wrong, in case somebody with the same opinion listens, and hopefully can learn. Not sure it would work though.
