I don't use streaming services so I can't tell you, but I just hope those who don't stream him because of the accusations do not stream Paparazzi and Beautiful Dirty Rich cause otherwise... :triggered:

i won’t stream anything made by him after kesha’s exposé, on account of the artist being trash. doja is obviously an exception because she isn’t working with him by choice, but kim and saweetie are trash

i stream the stuff he made before, because at the end of the day, the big bucks from those songs have already been made. me streaming California Gurls or Blow doesn’t really affect anything

i think that’s kind of different

Luke is a rapist

Gaga hasn’t specified a name or a person, so any particular accusations are speculation

Well, many great artists in history were also terrible people in real life, so I agree that you should be able to separate the art from the artist.

As for Dr Luke, I genuinely don't care about his work. Many other producers make way better records than him, so I couldn't care less. I choose not to listen to his work.

good music is good music. i try not to pay mind to who’s on the credits of kim’s tracks. these producers are basically only getting PENNIES (if even that) from each stream anyways.

i obviously don’t support dr. luke, but i’m not going to stop streaming when i know he’s barely getting anything from it anyways. might as well support kim & doja and my other faves who were made to sign with him.

I don’t get why this dilemma is always associated with Kim when everyone likes to turn a blind eye to Doja whom still works with Luke. There are many modern hits that are under his name, I don’t know why people assume he was actually cancelled. As someone who adores Kesha and does not condone the behavior or misconduct of Luke, the reality of the matter is that almost everything we consume will have input from people who are far from ideal. Heck even Kesha’s newer albums are still under Luke and he still makes a profit when you buy Rainbow or High Road or stream any of her older work as well. But if you boycott streaming Kesha then she makes no buck as well. Label contracts are very murky and unfortunately we don’t know how much control people like Kim or Doja really have. Heck not even someone as big as Taylor could dodge shady label business. I guess if you care about the artist then continue supporting that body of work but if you’re not invested in Kim, Doja or those working with Luke then perhaps avoiding their work could make you feel better from moral standpoint but that’s not to say you should feel guilty otherwise.

All of this:coffee:

Download the song on your phone so they don't make any money with your streams.

Taylor is probably a bad example to use given that her version of this was the Scooter Braun feud and she literally decided "**** this watch me rerecord all my albums so you can't get any money from them". :saladga:

he also profits off many other songs. he founded Prescription Songs which employs other songwriters. Prescription Songs’ catalog includes: Dua's Levitating, Don’t Start Now, Physical, Lizzo 's Juice, Gaga's Plastic Doll and many more ....

Add Disco Heaven to that list. Rumor has it that allegedly, the producer of those songs (Fusari) is the man who assaulted Gaga. All rumor and no confirmation.
