EGOT2027

as fun as the days were of 2-3 year album campaigns, people just don't have the attention span for that anymore (and it also doesn't make sense when people can stream the whole album right away instead of choosing to only buy the songs/singles they hear on the radio). i feel like 1989 and teenage dream were the last huge albums to pull off that type of era (and deservedly so)

i'd definitely argue future nostalgia too. lasted the last few months of 2019 and pretty much all of 2020 and 2021. although i think future nostalgia was an anomaly rather than an example of a normal campaign.

and The Weeknd's After Hours, he started in 2019 and he still has 'Save Your Tears' from this album on Hot 100, it charts higher than his new songs.

I know, i mean something more like what Beyonce did with "4" all those years ago. More tracks still, re-arranged track list, etc.
