Adele's residency could be delayed until June or 2023

Adele's Las Vegas residency could be delayed until June or even 2023 due to the singer's packed calendar, according to a new report.

Reports claim ticket-holders could have to wait months or even a year to see the star perform due to her other commitments such as The Brits and her Hyde Park gigs in July. 

Insiders told The Sun: 'There are two slots in this year's calendar, from the end of February to the start of May, and from the middle of June to the middle of September. But if they can't work then it could be 2023 by the time they're rescheduled.

'The rest of the weekend dates in the year are taken up by other acts including Sting and Rod Stewart.

'She is expected to still be a part of The Brit Awards next month and she has two headline gigs at Hyde Park on July 1 and 2.

'Adele's schedule is mammoth and it makes rescheduling a challenge but she is devoted to her fans and will do everything she can to get them back in the diary quickly.'

It's not like she has to plan huge theatrics 

She basically just stands up and sing

 

And I am not dragging her here

I love adèle 

But it's her style and while we thought it would be different for this album it hasn't been the case

So glad I was able to get my tickets for so cheap. I won’t miss the money and by the time it’s rescheduled it’ll feel like a present or something.

Even "standing up and singing" is a huge production that involves hundreds of people, from musicians on stage to sound/lighting/management/security and so many people that we don't even know about.

Also, you haven't seen the show. It's probably similar to Jazz & Piano — Gaga's doesn't do any "choreo" but it's still a massive show.

Honestly I feel like there’s been this overwhelming pressure on Adele this era, it was wrong for her team to do this days before the first show. I feel sorry for the fans who would’ve paid for flights + accomodation, just hope she’s not putting too much blame on herself.

This isn't her team's fault. She SHOULD put the blame on herself. Insiders have all said she pitched a diva fit and started damaging the set, etc and that there was nothing stopping her from performing.
