I think it's fine if one didn't care for the performance or the film. There were people who had more acclaimed performances, and as much as I love Gaga I think Colman & Cruz were better. But that's not what is going on with most fans.... My issue is with fans who act like Gaga is some exception and doesn't belong in the group being talked about (Zegler/Chastain/Kidman/Hudson/Cruz/Thompson/Haim/Gaga/Colman/Stewart/etc.) when she received just as much critical acclaim as Jessica Chastain for Tammy Faye. I like Rachel, she gave a good performance, but if she gets in over Chastain or Gaga...rme. And yeah, I agree rn she's probably the biggest threat. Let's see what SAG will do. She likely is since she has lack of international support because she missed LFCC & AACTA and her film didn't do well. But Gaga has won a critics Trifecta (NYFCC), Capri, was nominated at the AACTA and many people have actually seen House of Gucci. So I'd say Gaga is stronger than Chastain right now. Gaga doesn’t have that versatility. In fact, I can’t think of any actor that has versatility.
