We have to reach 90%+ The UK has a pretty decent vaccination rate and Omicron just ripped through us. At this point nothing is safe, I had both my jabs and a booster and I currently have the virus. The only thing the vaccines are good for right now is not getting really sick. And even though the death rate hasn't climbed here, having it spread like never before has seen rates of staff absences go through the roof including in the health care sector so the pressure is still applied just in a different way. OT: Why were people travelling and how did they bring a new variant here anyways There is still large numbers of cases and there are new variants there and there and people just travel like nothing.
