Lil Nas X on finding a home on social media

Lil Nas X talked with correspondent Tracy Smith about reinventing himself, his childhood, and his love of social media, in an interview for "CBS Sunday Morning," to be broadcast January 2 on CBS.

Lil Nas X said he was never really super-close to either of his parents, and he's always felt like "a lone person."
He said he finds comfort in social media: "That was probably one of the first places where I was like, 'Oh my God, this is for me,'" he said.

He said Twitter has been like his home: "It's like my actual family … I've become closer with people who I met online than people who I've met in real life.
"I've learned the ways of the internet," he added. "I've learned how to go viral, and what to stay out of."

I have no idea i dont follow his tweets whats so ever

 

I just know every few days theres a thread on something he said and a bunch of ppl saying hes being messy and neeeds to know when to stop

He had some problematic tweets before he was famous or something like that. He was one of those annoying stan twitter peeps who just say the most idiotic stuff. While I get that some of the stuff he tweeted were bad, he was also a reckless teenager at the time. But you know how stans love to dog **** and have a meltdown lmao
