I can accept people not having access to clean water, people going bankrupt because of one (1) medical bill, kids not eating lunch at school...

but if you tax my hundreds of millions of dollars even 1% more, I WILL send more money into tax havens.

That's not at all what she's saying but go off with your "I'm a democrat and hate everyone who ain't like me" take :billie:

Level headed and reasonable, there are good points being made by both parties but extremists are always the loudest, swaying the crowd from one side to the other.

The next question should have been okay but when you're voting, do you care more about human rights or about your money?

Some things are a little more important than social justice :coffee: If it comes to me having to pay lower taxes you bet I'm voting for that choice.

I work and pay taxes too, it's what keeps a society going. I'm happy to live in a country with good social security in case anything does ever happen to me and I'm willing to pay taxes for that for others now. Especially in Kims case when you have more money than you could ever spend, I do think your priority should not be to keep as much money as possible for yourself.

I mean, sure, if I was a millionaire. But I make $38k a year before taxes, I'm not voting for a candidate whose only platform is "Yay gays!!". I want to know what their financial insights are because that will impact me more directly.

Why would they ask her what her favorite Taylor song is in a politic-centered interview :triggered:

Because they want some sort of tea to re-ignite their feud and generate revenue through clicks. :spin:

Because there really is a candidate who's platform is just yas gays every election. Usually the candidates that promise 'less taxes' during campaigning are also populists with little intention to follow up on their promoses. Parties that are known to be wanting to cut taxes will often be the parties that help the rich and bigger businesses. Much less the little man.

Regardless it's not selfish to want to keep your money for yourself

For you I can agree, but not for someone with the wealth of Kim Kardashian. We all want to live a nice life, but the super rich will still live a very very nice life even when taxed more so yes it's selfish. Not everyone is born in wealth. The tax system is there to help people with less luck + make sure all communal needs and infrastructure is met. It's not weird that as being someone fornutate and rich you'd contribute more to that. Because they literally don't need that money to live a good life.

I hate that!!!! Seems like parties are about labels, like a cult or religion that u follow blindly in the US, thats why there are debates about rep vs democrat for everything it seems. Oh, you say that bcs ur a republican...like accusatory tones. The US needs to change the electoral system and allow other parties to shine!!!!! I love how I'm able to vote center, left, extreme left, right, extreme right, but hey it's not over, there's communist party, independent parties (how Macron won with his own party), ecology party, another right wing party but that's different from the right, there are countless choices, if someone says "im voting right" u cant know what they mean, they r different types or right wing parties, they all differ a little bit, same for left, and even center, U got Macron but also u have center left, center right, center moderate, etc. You pick and choose, and new politicians can come and emerge and bloom and win and become president! Not just democrat vs republican. Thats how it should be

Theyre indoctrinated from a very young age in America. Brainwashing about flags and wars, kept away from foreign knowledge alot & taught about sports as a priority in order to give them a compulsive behaviour to "support" someone for no good reason.

It's a bit like... oh I won't say..

taught about sports as a priority

In middle school, every spring during the ACC Basketball Tournament, we were forced to do math projects predicting which team would win. It's ridiculous how high sports are revered in the USA.

That's not to say they're bad, like the arts, sports can be the only outlets kids have. But it shouldn't take precedence over education.
