But I also think writing it off as simple "internalized homophobia" undermines the fact anti-gay rhetoric is deeply rooted in white supremacy. It's an easy excuse to say "Well, he's just a closet case yelling into the void" when in reality it's more dangerous than that. You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.
