This is coming from a super stan who bought every version of the album: there is only ONE standout on this album, and it is To Be Loved.

If it is not the second single, she will have missed a great opportunity to sustain longevity for the album and keep it selling for months to come. None of the rest will do that for her unfortunately.

Thats is inherently false information as we have already whats I drink sine, hold on and love is a game which Are all amazing tracks

I’m not sure how my opinion and taste qualify as “fake information”, but sure.

None of the tracks are bad, I never said that. I’m just thinking of what might be a strong enough track to sustain album sales and that is only To Be Loved.

“To Be Loved” is a seriously special song. It takes a great talent to create something so emotional and gorgeous.

Wow.

I'm not an ADELE stan and I'm blown away. Girl finally EXPERIMENTED. Grammy winner, album of the year material IMO.

‘To Be Loved’ is one of the most beautiful & heartbreaking songs I’ve ever heard. I can’t wait for this album.

OMG: "Oh My God", "Hold On"

She Can Get It: "Easy On Me", "Can I Get It", "I Drink Wine", "All Night Parking"

Stranger By Nature: the rest of the album

"Can I Get It" really gives strong Ed Sheeran vibes but I mean it's not that bad, refreshing change of pace amidst all those ballads.

And I have mixed feelings about "To Be Loved"... I understand it's a very personal song and while I do find it beautiful I also found the vocal really grating towards the end, I mean she's basically screaming for the last two minutes. Same issue with the somewhat annoying vocal sample in "Cry Your Heart Out". And "Love Is A Game" drags on for way too long.

Otherwise great album, I love her! :saira:

My thoughts exactly!

I had the same with All I Ask from 25, it just keeps on dragging on and it reduces the replay value imo.

La Rosalia

I’m confused because one of them, I think it was I drink wine, was supposed to sound like goldfrapp but I listened to the song and that’s certainly not the case lol, is there any song that fits that description she gave?

I personally enjoyed the second half of the album, I liked that she experimented the first half but I didn't really connect with any of the songs except Easy On Me. She'd be crazy not to release To Be Loved as a single, it's the highlight on the album for me.

After my first listen, my favorites are ‘To Be Loved’, ‘My Little Love’, ‘Easy On Me’, ‘Hold On’, ‘Oh My God’ & ‘Love Is A Game’. The album is absolutely stunning

‘Hold On’ & ‘To Be Loved’ are sublime. I was so moved listening to them. Her vocals.. the arrangements.. I have no words. ‘Hold On’ is so uplifting, I loved the backing vocals against her own voice, it’s perfection. I loved the simplicity, rawness of the ‘To Be Loved’ recording, it’s so special. I hope she releases it as a single. It’s that good. That’s what real heartbreak sounds like, especially that outpour of vocal at the end. She must have been red in the face & sore in the chest after recording it. She’s truly at the top of her game here, I can’t say much else. No-ones doing it like her.
