RuPaul got famous in the late 80's.  That was a dangerous time to be gay, a really dangerous time to be a drag queen and she did all as a POC.  You won't find thicker skin than RuPaul, an icon and gay rights pioneer we all owe a big debt of gratitude to.  :applause:
