Are there no visits at dairy farms in kindergarten/school in the US?

I can't speak for all places, but where I teach field trips are really a thing of the past. With all the insane testing requirements (yes even for 5 year olds), there just isn't time for fun anymore.

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

Don't try to trick me that they don't grow on plants when I've seen them with my own eyes.

This is so embarrassing :laughga:

Please know that there are intelligent, non racist, cultured, open-minded Americans that know hot dogs and bacon are not only from pigs but one of the worst things for your health.

I may move to Canada if it keeps getting worse

You can't even blame those kids. You have to blame the idiots who are raising them and teaching them at school. I knew Americans were dumb but this is just :triggered:

As well as assessing the children's knowledge of the origins of foods, the team looked at what animals and plants the kids believed could and couldn't be eaten, with the majority believing that cows, pigs and chicken are inedible.

Either these kids are messing or the person who did the study is an idiot or this article is fake

I can understand a kid not knowing what beef or pork is

But chicken is literally called chicken and its one of the most commonly eaten meats in North America. Theres no way these numbers are accurate on how many kids think chicken is inedible :toofunny:
