I agree, while it work in some tracks, a lot of them lost a little of the 'emotion', the original Treacherous for example is a lot better in my opinion, cause you can almost hear her voice breaking. Also there's some songs like State Of Grace and Holy Ground that sound like she's screaming the verses and it's kind of weird. I also prefered the punchier "OH" of the original IKYWT, some of these vocals sound a little too clean, and that's not always the best thing.

But the instrumentation... IT'S SOOOOO GOOD, some of those songs sound better than never! I loved the violins on Everything Has Changed and The Moment I Knew is better in every way.

I wrote a lot, but yeah, I like it, but the vocal performance it's not the best

Yeah I agree with you, I think her voice changed a lot and now it fits more to the slow songs, the pop tracks aren't fitting to her somehow. Also your favorite cuts are mine's too. I Almost Do, Everything Has Changed, Sad Beautiful Tragic, Begin Again became better or the same level as the original to me, The others idk about it. The vault tracks are ok and the longer version of All Too Well is great!

the scars on my mind are on replay.

I was hoping for the original production in the 10-minute All Too Well. I don't feel the emotions with the new production by Jack Antonoff. The lyrics are sooo good, though.

I totally forgot the fact that I played  RED on repeat back then..

it was the album that got me into her, and this TV is great! its so refreshing!

also I prefer her mature voice much better than her earlier days.

The instrumentation is a lot better in every single song, as it is her current voice compared to the more childish of the original. The new tracks are ALL so good. The only negative thing is the music in ATW (10 min), it doesn't have the strength of the shorter version, but the new lyrics are poetry:nooo:

I think everyone saying the vocals are missing emotion aren’t wrong… it’s hard to recreate that feeling of heartbreak when you are in a healthy and happy relationship… and when Taylor originally recorded red she was going through it… now not so much.

I forgot how total random the track order is on this record.. Stay Stay Stay and boom ! The Last time. 22 ? BÄM I almost do !! I knew you were trouble ? Feeling good, yes ? ALL TOO WELL

That being said, I love the entire thing. It was what made me fall in love with Taylor in the first place ♥️

Random? Or planned cause the emotional roller coaster of heartbreak is non linear

I'm curious if this is....working. I was surprised that this is only the second "taylor's version" release. Is she going to be able to make releasing the other albums worth it? "Taylor Swift" is her first album from 2006. Is she really going to re-release that? When I look at her top songs in youtube music, most of it is from 1989, but the one from Fearless, You Belong With Me, is still the scooter version. Is there data on listening to her fearless songs & if it switched to her new versions or not?

Also, IKYWT and WANEGBT sounds to me like a karaoke impression

It’s because Max Martin, who co produced these songs, isn’t on it. Sounds cheap and dated.

i hope he’ll be on board in the 1989 one because if not, it will be a disaster  Taylor Swift Fingers Crossed GIF

What does this even mean lol. She’s way beyond the status of needing #1s even though any re-recordings of hers are likely to go #1. Confused why it wouldn’t be worth it; this is for the fans and also for her to own HER music
