oh man, hahah this poor guy.  

however, ever since I saw him as the baker in into the woods, I felt it was a very odd casting choice.  and I've heard no one liked him in the prom.

now seems he's just become a gimmick casting or something.

he's one of those actors who people cannot separate the actor from the character they're playing, all they see is James Corden as whatever role it is. so that is unfortunate for him and his future career.

I signed, not because I think its funny and not because I don‘t like him, I just think that he is a REALLY bad actor and love Wicked and just don‘t want him to be involved

Agreed! I don't dislike him or anything, but there's no movie I can take seriously if he's in it. I kinda enjoyed Ocean 8 and then he appeared on my screen and thought "Oh so this movie is a joke"

Can I ask you why? Like did he say/do some problematic ****? I'm neutral about him (like I don't watch his shows, besides the carpool when I like the guest, so not even always) but I'll never sign something to make someone fired or unihireble? Like that's very evil to me? So justify me this please, I at least hope y'all have valid points.

he is not losing a job. He is not involved in this project and people don't want him to be. 
The ire directed towards James and his potential casting in Wicked stems from his appearance in musicals such as the widely-panned Cats, Ryan Murphy’s The Prom, and Emily Blunt-starring Into the Woods – as well as Amazon’s recently released Cinderella.

It's the same. One signs a petition to stop him from getting eventually hired, it does sound cruel to me. If even after Cats, The Prom and Into the woods he still getting hired, maybe directors know more than stans on Twitter?
