She's not getting the BAFTA (Prince William is president of it for some dumb reason and while a lot of British critics love her...the royalists ones were dragging the film). She could very well get the Oscar.

I wouldn't be surprised tbh if Penelope is the dark horse candidate who ends up winning or Olivia pulls a Frances and wins yet again, but rn Kristen is definitely favored.

I LOVED It. One of my favorite films of the year. But yeah, Pablo Larraín's film are wild (even Jackie had its batsh*t moments and that's probably the most 'normal' his direction has ever been in a film) and I have a feeling the GP is going to be very split on Spencer (especially as a lot of people who are into royalty are caught up on everything being exact and accurate, and the film definitely does not care about that at all). Jackie was super polarizing with the general public, too.

I would really love for Gaga to work with him. I feel like Pablo does an insanely good job of portraying complicated women and creating atmospheric moods in his movies.

Edited: If you haven't seen any of his other films, I recommend Ema, Tony Manero (his most bizarre film), and Neruda. Ema has the fine as h*ll, tiny hottie Gael Garcia Bernal.

I think Olivia is a big threat because she’s well liked by voters. If I remember correctly there was hearsay back in 2018 that some voters were picking Olivia based on how well they got along with her and the praise her performance was getting.

They couldn't even get the hair right..yet you  think she could be up for an Oscar? With Dialogue like "I have to masturbate"?  It's safe to say Diana NEVER said that cringeworthy **** to anyone. This is a Hollywood view of Diana, so in other words, exploitative, puerile and sensationalist. Anyways, what is An American lesbian doing playing a British , straight woman. I thought ya'll were like gay roles, gay people..But it's ok the other way round?
