It is being said that the ban is because of the same sex couple in the movie which at one point share a passionate on screen kiss. These countries allegedly requested Disney to make edits to the movie and Disney denied those requests which resulted in the ban. Still, I feel like if the request had come from a country with a larger share of their box office profits, Disney would have approached it differently.
