Truly my belief is that it’s the saddest collection of music she has ever written, lyrically. Every song (other than Stupid Love perhaps) carries its own raw pain. This is also why I love it so much. I appreciate she is able to dive deep into her pain for her art but I hope she can still enjoy the beauty of what she has created. I, for one, am always going to extremely grateful that I have been able to experience her and her art for the past 11-12 years. I hope she knows how important her words are to some of us. I was very close to ending my life last year. Had it not been for Chromatica, and especially Fun Tonight, which was literally god sent because it played at the correct moment, at the correct time, I might not have been here to write these words today.
