We need to let her be human. She may mean a lot to some of you individually but none of us truly know her as a person. Sorry if that’s pretty blunt. If it is better for her as a human to move on from all of this, she needs to do it. And we can all to support her by allowing her the space and time to heal on her terms. That may mean permanently. So it’s really time for some fans to start seeking other ways of enjoyment/ entertainment/ etc in life.

It's not like she doesn't have hundreds of performances already, anyway.

I'll never forget that day in 2008 when I saw a phone ringtone commercial in which one of the songs was Just Dance and I wondered who that girl was...

for me it was January 2009 when I was watching MTV Poland with my friend and Poker Face came out and we all became obsessed with that blonde sensation that changed pop culture forever

and before that, when only Just Dance was released I was like "oh, lady gaga... another boring pop girl" - this was my biggest mistake EVER

I remember distinctly after my first listen of Chromatica being floored at the sadness of the record. Truly my belief is that it’s the saddest collection of music she has ever written, lyrically. Every song (other than Stupid Love perhaps) carries its own raw pain. This is also why I love it so much. I appreciate she is able to dive deep into her pain for her art but I hope she can still enjoy the beauty of what she has created. Her openness and willingness to be truthful about her darkness has saved so many people.

Pls Gaga you say this about every album released :coffee:

To be honest when Chromatica was released I was in a dark period and I took me out of it, one year later, today, I listen to Chromatica and can enjoy the piece of art that it is, I know it healed me in some way and I celebrate it. Same goes with ARTPOP. But I wish she could be more positive about her albums, it’s getting boring reading that every pop album she created thus far, that she was feeling sad etc. How do you then want your fans to celebrate your past work? Period

Chromatica is a textbook example of the quote "When you're happy you enjoy the music, when you're sad you understand the lyrics"

Definitely! Just loling at the user I quoted for acting like their experience as an audience member would somehow mirror and/or invalidate that of the person who actually wrote it

I mean... when you look at the lyrics it's crystal clear she was in a very dark place... and looking at some of the photos of her back then (paparazzi pics etc) she looked very unhappy.

I hope she is in a better place now ( I believe she really is now) so let's hope for a "fun pop" record next! (Doesn't have to be pop though)

I for one, think Gaga evolved regarding the way she deals with herself the last few years. Mostly the way she came to terms with stuff that happened to her and the stuff she knows has to deal for ever. So i think we might have a more happy outcome in a future album.

But honestly, Gaga will always be inspired by her dark side, the pain, her struggles. ( I mean given what learned about this woman through the years, some of the stuff that unfortunately happened to her...i mean it's very hard stuff)

I personally believe her next album will have a "happier" approach and with that she will surprise us all in a way - because this would be kinda new

I just hope and pray some of you find even a tiny bit of empathy in your lives.

I, for one, am always going to extremely grateful that I have been able to experience her and her art for the past 11-12 years. I hope she knows how important her words are to some of us.

I was very close to ending my life last year. Had it not been for Chromatica, and especially Fun Tonight, which was literally god sent because it played at the correct moment, at the correct time, I might not have been here to write these words today.

We love you Gaga for everything that you grace us with. ❤️❤️❤️

“What happens now? I’m not okay. And if I scream you walk away”

Hearing that always gives me goosebumps. While it’s cleverly disguised by upbeat instrumentals. The whole thing is haunting yet beautiful

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.
