I mean, the way she talks about the pain is different when she talks about TF/TFM. The way she said it here is more appreciating the pain to fight to get this music out and to share it to the world. So she is more fond of the music in TF/TFM. But with the pain she talks about ARTPOP, Joanne and Chromatica, she talks about the pain away from the music. That the music is something she finds hard to sing and play it again. It's 2 different type of pain.

So Gaga will never be able to revisit music that comes from a difficult place. It’s odd for a pop star to say that. I think she’s in the wrong business.

though it sucks she feels that way because it is truly a masterpiece album. 

It kind of makes it difficult to appreciate the music sometimes. It's always made or written during her lowest points. I just wish she would write her music from a good place whenever she is ready to take a longer break. We never heard this during The Fame or really The Fame Monster even though they were about her fears she was always positive about it.

It just feels like she doesn't speak of her songs in a positive way anymore.

Yeah. I could sort of tell Gaga wasn't super passionate about Chromatica but I thought it was the pandemic that killed her steam, when really it's from the pain she felt and poured into the record.

I think she feels the same way toward ARTPOP. I wonder if this is why she's trying to return to acting (she mentioned in interviews she tried starting out as an actress) because creating music that's so personal then having to promote it in tours and performances is too painful

Y'all just see her as a hit machine, don't you? I think by now she's earned truly to be considered more than just a pop star. And I think as an artist who puts her every emotion into the things she does, it's not odd at all to feel certain ways about certain works she's done in the past.

And I didn't take the quote as that she will NEVER revisit those songs again. Maybe it will just take time for her to be fully comfortable with it. Maybe she still hasn't fully moved on from those emotions so it's difficult and even scary to sing those words that remind her of a dark place.

Also, let's not be dramatic. We saw how proud she was of that album when it came out.

She didn't say never. She said it's hard, not that she'll never sing them. Remember, she also said...

I guess you could argue creating the music is cathartic in of itself, but that isn’t helpful when you’ve got to promote it afterwards

I don’t know, I think the whole interview was mainly about House Of Gucci and that’s why Chromatica got less attention.

However she didn’t explicitly say ‘I’ll never perform a Chromatica song again’ or anything of that sort, she just expressed her difficulty with listening to the songs because they bring back bad memories, which is understandable.

I frankly don’t know what to expect from the tour at this point either, but I don’t think we should instantly conclude Gaga doesn’t care at all.

You can tel she feels trapped by her fame. She feels like she has to put on a character with pop-Ga and she’s afraid of releasing music that is truly her own - scared that her fans will leave her if she releases an album geared as Stefani rather than Gaga.

I hope she doesn’t stop putting out pop music but I’m sure it will slow down.
