N***a is not the same as N***er

You found nothing but more flamebait. Figures with the author of the OP.

You did with this clickbait thread :reductive:

The OP is a direct paragraph from the magazine, if it was clickbait a mod would've already closed the thread, and they've already posted in it :partysick:

I have literally cut people out of my life because they don't like Madonna or Gaga :billie: I don't play around when people try to criticize them. Unfortunately, I have to respect the rules here; otherwise the fight to the death would be a little more intense.

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

It’s completely taken out of context, and put in way where you suggest she is critisizing unions. She is not. She’s making  a passing comment about her experience with her theatre tour, and how union rules for theatre venues are different.

Maybe apply for a job at the DailyMail. You would fit right in working at a tabloid rag that does fake news and clickbait articles for a living.

The way people think about the pandemic, for instance, that the vaccination is the only answer or the polarization of thinking you’re either on this side or the other. There’s no debate, there’s no discussion. That’s something I want to disturb. I want to disturb the fact that we’re not encouraged to discuss it. I believe that our job is to disturb the status quo. The censoring that’s going on in the world right now, that’s pretty frightening. No one’s allowed to speak their mind right now. No one’s allowed to say what they really think about things for fear of being canceled, cancel culture. In cancel culture, disturbing the peace is probably an act of treason.

She's right. People need to stop instilling others on one way to think, or THEIR way to think about the world around them. You should be able to debate everything, and yes u can still debate vaccines without thinking vaccines are harmful for your body. You can debate vaccine on whether or not it's the best solution that will get us out of a pandemic, because guess what, there are many ways a pandemic ends, sometimes vaccines are not enough. But in this culture, you can't have a different thought, the minute u do you are called names and labels. It's censorship

So she's antivaxx for the lols?

That's exactly the problem with this culture. So subtlety anymore, everything is to its extreme. If you don't abide to one thought that everyone should share you are now an anti-vaxx, a -phobic etc

Madonna could say any stupid thing now and all her minions would do mental gymnastics to agree and defend her. Then they always pull out the same tired "you're just an ageist misogynistic person!!1!1! Literally no one made pop music before her"

Lmao they blocked my signature

Ummmm.... What's there to debate? You either trust the science or you don't. Censoring? the only censoring going on is against misinformation which is a good thing :saladga:

I'm so sick of celebrities crying about cancel culture. You're not untouchable, your actions have consequences, deal with it.

Science isn't black and white. It's okay to question it, especially since "in the name of science" has been used in the past to hurt marginalized communities.

I have no problem calling her out when she says or does questionable things, which she HAS done before. In this instance, there is no mental gymnastics needed here because nothing she said in this interview is stupid.

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.
