Isn't the Queen of Latin Pop Shakira? I'm pretty sure Paulina hasn't been successful for over a decade and has never been not even close to Shakira's success and influence.

To the Latin pop stans, Pau's the Queen of Latin pop, while Shaki's is the Queen of Latin music.

Actually, Paulina is more deserving of that title because everything that she's achieved so far, she's achieved with her Spanish-language music with Latin rhythms along with keeping her Latina persona, while Shakira had to go blonde, be a clone copy of Britney/Xtina/Jessica and sing in English to have international success.

It doesn't matter what Shakira had to do in order to achieve international success, because going blonde doesn't mean she wanted to become a "clone" of Britney or Xtina. Her music was still pretty much original and influenced the arabic and latin sounding-music in early 2000s with people like Beyoncé jumping on the trend :messga:Not to mention what made Shakira so successful and known worldwide was her unique vocals and moves. Basically no one I know would call Paulina queen of anything but I won't deny that woman has some bops!
