That's a better example of an overly tanned British girl in my opinion. Sometimes they use a tan not made for their skin tone and they don't realise just how dark they look and because they're not a pasty looking white they think it's a better look so they stick with it.

After all of the work Leigh Anne has done on the racism she has experienced, I can imagine she would be very upset at what Jesy is doing. It’s not just about the colour of Jesy’s skin, it’s also about appropriation and profiting off other cultures some of which she will never understand because she has not walked in their shoes. 
I agree that the message was not the best idea though. She could’ve addressed it herself instead of asking others.
