Basically this. I didn't stop stanning Gaga over R. Kelly and Terry Richardson, I'm not going to stop stanning Lizzo 'cause she has bad taste in idols.

Especially not when literally everything else coming from her is positive.

I just hope she rethinks showing public affinity for an abuser in the future

Y’all I’m sorry but is anyone gonna direct this energy at Rihanna herself as well. I remember feeling kinda disappointed when she forgave him and even collabed with him on Birthday Cake during the TTT era. Hard to feel as sympathetic for the abuse when the victim is telling the abuser to eat her *** a few years after the incident. I also remember her posting about forgiving him and that things are all good. Now I get it there may have been pressure from PR or that some will say it’s up to her she’s the victim. However, why on earth collaborate with him and what kinda message do you think that sends to younger girls. It kinda undermines what he did tbh. I raise this point because you never know, Rihanna forgiving him probably made other artists brush it off as well.
