The Bible doesn't lie:trollga:

Another interesting fact: In the Bible, Yaweh (God) through prophet Daniel predicted that Babylon would be destroyed. Eventually it was. He also said later on that no one would ever inhabit the place except for crawling creatures and unclean animals. Search up Babylon today and it is a desolate area. Of course, some have tried to claim it over the years but no one really stays and dwells in the area.

That's interesting, I gave your first like. :tony:

It reminds me of the capital of the Hittite Empire, basically the biggest city in the world at one point, which is now in ruins and only shephers go there so their animals can graze. The absolute biggest downfall of a city is when not even tourists go there.

Hey I looove this!

Anything biblical is of my interest! I do recall the hitites/ a hitite mentioned in the Bible but I didn't know they had an empire and all! Thanks for the info, I'm search more about them and what part they played. Stuff like this kind of make us think that human rulership doesn't last forever and what was once great, eventually falls.

The Hittite Empire was an Ancient Empire in Anatolia, in modern-day Turkey. According to what I found on Wikipedia, it's debated if the Hitties mentioned in the Bible are the ones that run the Hittite empire, though is possible. I have no idea how accurate this is, but I remember seeing a map of the places mentioned in the Bible and it seemingly includes Turkey:

I like to believe that it is possible. There were tribes so I believe they eventually became an empire and different branches of the same people came out to be/ were. Also I read that Noah had a son who was dark skinned. This son (forgot name) had a grandson named Heth. And according to the Bible, study that is where they came from. Apparently they were dark skinned so I thought it interesting.
