OriginalMonster 80
Early 2008, April or May, I was a member of another pop forum and someone posted a thread about a new, unknown singer named Lady Gaga. She had just released Just Dance, and the post included downloads of a few demos and unreleased songs like Beautiful Dirty Rich and Dirty Ice Cream. I was instantly hooked and put the songs on my MP3 player to listen to on repeat, and I started watching all the performances and interviews I could find. I was a big fan right away, but when she released The Fame (Part One) video a few months later and I heard the first clip of Poker Face, it was absolutely infectious and unlike anything I'd ever heard, and that was when I probably became a true stan haha. I was like 11 and was completely mesmerized watching the performance over and over on my dvr as I had no other technology or internet at that time. Soon after bought the fame and was officially hooked 1 hour ago, BARKDANGER said: I had Comcast at the time, it was after the VMA aired, but Comcast at the time had an On Demand feature, and featured music performance. Gaga was featured. I fell in love with that performance and rewatched like 20 times. The blood stunt was a gag! Same for me!

I remember going to Best Buy, purchasing the foil edition CD of ARTPOP for like $7.99. Before that I only had the Walmart censored version with the giant Koons Ball covering her T*ts. “I’m on the edge of glory…”
