The last few lines are beautiful. She feels so misunderstood and mocked by the critics and the fans. :bradley: I feel like Lana will be celebrated as a poet/ songwritter only when she dies. Really sad :fatcat:

This is soooo good.

I can’t understand how people think her music all sounds the same??? She keeps getting better imo

It’s pure poetry mama :firega:

Im disappointed because for me the song is not unforgettable, a spark has been lost between me and her since chemtrails, it's not the same anymore. This is my personal feeling, nothing for u to argue or debate, I feel this way, not saying everyone does, but me, myself and I, I feel this way. Just a warning before I get a quote that says im a horrible person for not connecting to her songs anymore

I know what you mean. I still like her new work but it's not connecting with me in the same way as previous stuff and I loved Chemtrails. I think it's a case of Lana putting out so many albums in a short space of time. She debuted in 2012, so in just over 9 years, she's made 7 albums and an 8 track re-release (and a book of poetry for good measure). She's put out an album every year, basically and this time, she's putting out 2 within months of each other. Even as a fan, a bit of fatigue is natural. There's a danger in letting down your fans when you spoil them too much. I think Lana needs to chill out a bit and ease up on this need to put out new music constantly. Her quality doesn't really suffer but it's not allowing her albums long to sink in and the more she accumulates in a short space of time, the more likely they are to be glossed over and forgotten about. I've noticed some of the most successful artists aren't the ones that drop albums every year but the ones who do it every 3 years on average and every time they do, it's an event (Gaga, Ed, Beyonce, JB...). Giving your fans a chance to miss you can work wonders. I sometimes wonder how Lana actually finds inspiration for lyrics considering she can't have much time in between albums for living life but whatever works for her, I guess.

high culture

One of my favorites from her in a while!! I feel like I’m a sophomore in high school with crisp autumn air and the leaves falling

Looks like instrumental interludes are the thing now 👀 :reductive::mark:

She’s used interludes since before Joanne sis :poot:

I really love this...and I was not very into Blue Banisters, Wildfire Wildflower, or Textbook (nice songs, but kind of average compared to her previous work imo). I know some people will b*tch about Arcadia being another piano ballad, but it has a lilting, cinematic quality to it.

So what's the official date? Is October 22nd just for the CDs/Vinyls, or for the album as a whole?

The outro is another track from the album “Interlude - The Trio”

Evidently, it’s only an interlude!

Are you sure? Because Shazam recognizes it almost immediately as The Trio from Ennio Morricone
