Most likely. There is literally no point in getting the vaccine then, it seems cause we are just gonna catch the other variants.

Edit: What I meant was that if based on research, the other variants are likely to be resistant to the vaccine, the current vaccines we have will be more or less useless in the future because the newer variants will be the dominant ones. I am not against vaccines I am just asking what the point is if they won't help towards the other variants anyway? If they are as deadly as scientist make them out to be then we are just trying to buy time with no possible end goal.

Mmm that’s a bit gloom and doom. Vaccines can be adjusted accordingly to accommodate for the other variants that showed some resistance. This article from earlier this year talks about how there had already been discussions in terms of updating them as a result of variants originating here and there.

We've been saying this for a while now. The virus won't DISAPPEAR, it will eventually become very much like the flu IF we keep vaccinating while following safety measures. So get vaxxed and wear a mask so we can get there already.
